Settlement of Continuum Litigation

LSP Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has settled both of its pending patent infringement lawsuits against Continuum Electro-Optics, Inc. The basis for the settlement was a license grant from LSPT to the purchaser and end user of the Continuum laser system covered by the patents at issue in the lawsuits (U.S. Patent Nos. 6,373,876, 6,191,385, and 5,127,019).
LSPT places a very high value on its patent portfolio, which includes roughly 60 U.S. and foreign patents and numerous pending patent applications relating to laser peening, laser bond inspection, and laser mine neutralization. LSPT will continue to seek enforcement of its patents where necessary and appropriate.
